Role Summary/Purpose:
The Resource Leader will develop competitive strategies to effectively hire, retain, train and assign resources. The Resource Leader will work closely with the segment directors to drive resource operational processes and compliance by establishing and maintaining
operating rhythms throughout the segment. This position will drive consistent behavior among the team, and support process/execution changes through data analysis. The Resource Leader will integrate and develop processes that meet resource needs across the
segment, manage complex issues, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Functions:
Partner with the Resource Director, Service Directors, and Service Managers to standardize operational processes and meet compliance requirements by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms across all segments, projects and customers
Drive EHS compliance and adherence to EHS goals while supporting safety culture
Deliver process capability improvement by producing designs and implementing resource optimization methods which reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality
Lead the local resource management team to optimize field resources and provide new solutions to ensure proper planning and timely delivery
Contribute to long term business planning and overall business strategy by recommending improvements which will further optimize resources
Collect and analyze operations data and compare performance to established metrics relative to financial expectations, outage excellence resource utilization, and localization
Establish, maintain and report operations dashboards to Resource Director and HQ
Support the Resource Director with daily operations and business management, including operations reviews, financial tracking and projections
Work closely with Resource Director, Service Directors, and Service Managers to investigate, analyze and resolve segment issues in a timely manner
Work with the leadership team to create an operational budget plan
Participate in recruitment and hiring activities by working with the recruitment team to actively fill positions needed for operational success
Partner with Resource Managers and Employee Owners to establish and implement training programs and career development plans to meet the developmental needs of all skillsets in the region
Perform other duties as assignedQualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Operations, Engineering, Management or related field (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of Field / Operations experience, in Power Generation installationor maintenance)
Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in project management, operations, field services, engineering, or other related fields
5 or more years of leadership experience
Excellent management, customer service, and communication skills
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
Knowledge of power generation products, maintenance, services, and installations
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees
Track record in leading organizational change or being a change agent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
Strong project management skills
Some travel required
English proficiency requiredDesired Characteristics
