Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure compliance of business affairs of PU/SU from a financial point-of-view.Coordinate and contribute to the PU/SU long range planning, annual target setting, and working latest estimate process.Assist PU/SU with creation of business cases and preparation of Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs). Ensure CARs are compliant with local and global accounting guidelines and reflect all required information.Monitor and create transparency of all PU/SU improvement initiatives (e.g. IQP, LEAN, Yield, etc…) in respect of savings generated.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial and operational analysis to PU/SU leadership and to global leadership. Evaluate and communicate root causes of all significant operational variances to PU leadership.Support in rolling out new global finance initiatives targeting performance improvement and creation of full financial transparency.

Planning

Lead the site long term planning, annual target setting (Budget) and latest forecasts (LF) process.Ensure accuracy of Plans vs. Actual results and ensure that planning exercises are based on latest operational business assumptions.Determine Risks and Opportunities beyond plans.

Investments

Provide guidance to all units in the creation of business cases and preparation of Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs). Make sure that CARs reflect best current financial and operational solution to the local and global business.Ensure CARs are compliant with local and global accounting guidelines/policies and reflect all required key-figures and evaluate different scenarios.Monitor projects progress in respect of spending, timeline adherence and the proper closing process.

Reporting

Ensure the timely and accurate provision of monthly financial and management information & analysis to BPA Head and Local leadership in support of decision making processes.Variances from targets are known and root causes communicated accurately to BPA head, site and global leadership.Ensure KPIs follow global definitions where applicable.

Improvement Initiatives

Assist the Process units & supporting units in the creation of business cases for proposed improvement initiatives.Link operational benefits from improvement initiatives to the financial impact and establish clear measurement.

Site wide- range projects

Supporting ALCM program implementation and leading the maintenance costing work stream.Supporting NOSSCE program implementation and lead the financial integration& reconciliation cycle by providing all the required financial analysis.Act as the first level contact on ISRM matters in NTO BPA as IGM Coordinator; act as an interface between local business function and ISRM Lead Coordinator and/or responsible ISRM Manager.Support ISRM Sponsor and responsible ISRM Manager/Lead Coordinator in implementing, maintaining and improving business information management within areas of accountability as per global and local plansContribute in implementation of different NMM practices as requested (practice 12 )

Training And Education

Solid base in accounting & standard costing.Strong experience in financial planning & controlling of expenses and capital projects.Very good understanding of economics, management and leadership concepts.Thorough analysis of variances and all other COGM & COGS elements.

Minimum Requirements

Education: University degree in accounting, CMA is a mandatory, MBA is a plus.

Languages: Local language, professional English, other languages an asset.

Experience: At least 7 years of finance experience, of which at least 4 years in financial planning and controlling. Preferred to have a manufacturing environment experience.
