Presales Designer Engineer for C-TECH for IT solutions

Job Role

• responsible for understanding client requirements, designing technical solutions, and supporting the sales process with in-depth technical knowledge. You will work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure that our solutions are competitive and aligned with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and propose tailored technical solutions
• Design system architectures, technical drawings, and detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials) for IT infrastructure, networking, and/or light current systems
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical workshops to explain proposed solutions
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, scope of work documents, and compliance sheets
• Conduct site visits when necessary to collect project data and validate design feasibility
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, products, and industry trends
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product specifications and pricing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Communications, Computer, Electrical, or related field)
• 2+ years of experience in presales or design engineering in the IT, networking, or ELV/light current field
• Strong knowledge of system integration principles and technical design
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools
• Experience preparing responses to RFPs and tenders
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components (servers, switches, firewalls), and/or light current systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, etc.)
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
