MEP Coordination Engineer for Rock Developments

1. MEP Coordination & Planning:

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure proper coordination.
• Coordinate between mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Ensure that MEP systems align with architectural and structural elements.
• Attend coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

2. BIM & CAD Coordination:

• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks for clash detection and resolution.
• Review Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for accuracy and coordination.
• Work with BIM coordinators to update drawings and resolve design conflicts.

3. Site Supervision & Quality Control:

• Monitor MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work progress aligns with approved drawings.
• Address site issues and propose solutions to technical challenges.
• Verify subcontractor work quality and adherence to safety regulations.

4. Project Management & Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain MEP coordination drawings and as-built documentation.
• Assist in preparing material submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and method statements.
• Maintain records of site inspections, test reports, and compliance certificates.

5. Communication & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for smooth integration.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery and installation.
• Report project progress and issues to the MEP Manager or Project Manager.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical

Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in MEP coordination within construction projects.
