As a Sales Manager, you will be a part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Motors & Generators (BU) based in Cairo, responsible to plan and ensure execution of the BU and PG sales strategy for assigned area, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems in a profitable way. You will support DMMG Local Business Unit Manager by leading the sales of PG LV IEC Motors focusing on defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies specifically aimed at developing into markets, segments, and other future strategic areas. Set and implement with the LPG the business plans, annual sales plans and marketing strategies to achieve business growth. Empower our access and communications with key customer stakeholders, decision makers and influencers (including consultants). Accountable for defining and implementing sales and marketing strategies for the assigned area; proactively leading and developing the Marketing & Sales process; responsible developing and managing the marketing and sales action plans to both achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way to exceed the sales targets through high performance and ensure very high levels of customer satisfaction. Your Tasks as a Sales Manager will include the following: Ensure an effective sales operation either directly with end customers or in collaboration with Channel partners. Responsible to ensure that the targets are achieved, both in regards to sales volumes and profitability. Contribute to Local BU/PG strategy definition and execution through the analysis and identification of new markets, segments, and/or solutions.
Analyze customer needs for the portfolio, securing customer advantages and benefits as well as white spot analysis and connected strategies to penetrate the market. Ensure the development of marketing and sales plan areas in alignment with the Local BU manger strategy and market. Responsible to implement the sales and marketing plans with the DM team. Identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area, determine plans for acquisition and allocate resources, and participate in the definition of partnership agreements. Support the development of strong relationships with key customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and ensure efficient marketing communications. Develop large projects, via very good awareness of the customer, understands the underlying customer needs and identify new business possibilities, as well as maximize the potential with existing customers. Monitor client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams and FC. Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels. Gather and analyze customer data in order to support the sales proposals based on the customer’s particular situation. Ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales. Participate on negotiations of key contracts. Manage ongoing costs. Take ownership of the sales processes and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs. Ensure the proper prices/margin from the business segment’s perspective in negotiations with customers. Facilitate negotiations and develop the cooperation with channel partners (and/or other key participants), also including the production of cooperation agreements. Respond, report and give feedback to the PG on business trends, possibilities and challenges in the local market and how these influence the overall strategies for the business segments and the markets. Represent the PG in the local meetings as well as in the regional reviews with the LBU to ensure initiative contribution and cooperation. Responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels. Responsible for feedback/reporting to the LBU & PG for the business segment concerning sales development, distribution of resources and the current status of the market. Continuously conduct analysis of competitors containing information about the competitor’s business organization, the most important customers, product portfolio, pricing, profitability (including history) and marketing strategy. Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions and evaluate data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitor and provide required reports on market intelligence. Ensure periodical analyzes of the product portfolio and competitive price level.
To be considered for this position, you should hold a BSc degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with 7-10 years of sales experience.
