Job Description
The Food Safety and Quality Specialist
Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)
The Food Safety and Quality Specialist is responsible for the quality, food safety and aesthetic of the product.
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Engineering, Chemist or Equivalent relative to Field Expertise.
Minimum two to three years’ experience in a quality control/assurance and food safety is a MUST.
Self-motivated with proven leadership skills.
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Good command / good working knowledge in English (written, read and spoken)
Ability to work in fast-paced, effectively under pressure, and deadline-oriented environment.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, PRP and Risk Assessment. (Certificates and training is a plus.)
Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, FSSC, BRCGS requirements and audits. (Certificates and training is a plus.)
Microbiology Background is a plus.
Inspection Skills
High Communication Skills.
