Principal Research and Development IS Engineer

 Responsible for deploying Group IS/IT standards in accordance with the following objectives:

Compliancy with Group standards and policies Improvement of standardization, R&D efficiency and Quality of Products

 Responsible for the deployment of IS/IT tools and the related Standards

Manages the deployment of IS solutions and evolutions (including validation tests, information, training if needed, support, follow-up…).

 Responsible for - install, configuration, resolve issues, development, license management by contacting the vendors,

License sharing between sites for below tools used for Embedded Software Development, (Polyspace, Compilers, Debuggers, Matlab, Rectify, SVN Vector Cast, Oscilloscope, Test Benches) Resolve the issues in Configuring using these tools in coordination with Tool vendors Automate tools usage by writing the command line scripts (python, PERL, make etc.) is added advantage

 Manages all related licenses, collects data and reports to stakeholders. Escalation of incidents to the BG/PG R&D IS

( Automotive Embedded Software development) leader or R&D IS CCs when needed

 Monitors the level of service provided locally

 Manages and follows IT activities

Organizes the support to Key Users, in case of incident on centralized applications, and contact of Group IS CCs for action plans Collaborate with Site IS Manager to ensure the availability of international tools Is responsible for managing the Group application sites architecture and SLA. Basic level Infrastructure support, PC & Helpdesk, Network and windows server administration

 Support IS Manager with respect to IT Auditing, Software Asset Management and process documentations.

 Audit locally developed tools for compliance with Valeo IS standards.

From 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. Good Knowledge in IT Specific experience and development skills in R&D tools (SW & HW), especially in Automotive sector, will be appreciated. (R&D Tools like Polyspace, Compilers, Debuggers, Matlab, Rectify, SVN Vector Cast, Oscilloscope, Test Benches) Basic level skills and experience on IT Infrastructure, network monitoring, printers and standards Bachelor’s Degree in Communications & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
