- Job Purpose
Management activities and reactive Facilities Management request resolution in the assigned branch retail network including Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance. Monitor suppliers and staff to ensure planned maintenance scenario Monitor supplier and staff performance levels to ensure all service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Manage suppliers to identified performance gaps. Act as single point of contact for identified suppliers, ensuring visibility and monitoring and managing those suppliers’ performance across the entire Egypt portfolio. Develop relationships with Branch Managers in assigned portfolio, Act as single point of contact for any issues raised by customers Assigned portfolio, liaising with CRES colleagues to facilitate resolution
Main accountabilities and approximate time split
Team Leadership
Time Split: 25 % - Enable individuals to be aware of performance/skills/behavioral gaps that exist and the impact they have on their overall effectiveness.
- Succession Planning – ensuring there is a successor identified for all critical roles within the outsourced resident technicians
Strategic Partnership
Time Split: 15 % - Effectively manage the implementation of both Group and Barclays Egypt initiatives and priorities
- Providing high quality service and maintenance through delivering the products required effectively and on time.
- Work to gain a greater understanding of our customers / clients business and how what we do impacts them

Time Split 40% - Support the outsourced resident technicians in identifying the underlying causes and helping them to uncover different ways of approaching situations positively.
- Assist the outsource resident technician in their work flow to comply with any change.
- Develop tools to assist the outsource resident technicians in ensuring that all issues are treated fairly and consistently.
- Seek and act on Client feedback.
- Encourage frequent knowledge sharing between team members and with the outsource resident technicians
- Establish and maintain a succession plan for the team for the outsource resident technicians.
- Manage vendors performance in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA), by checking the quality and tracking if they deliver on-time, as per contract agreement.
- Interact with external service providers to manage performance, build relationships and identify opportunities for continuous improvement on a monthly basis or when required..
Governance & Risk Management
Time Split :10% - Well understand and study well the policies and procedures – local and global standards
- Minimize operational errors and ensure no repeat risk events
- all the controls are completed in particular manner
- update and maintain a Risk Register for each building and compile all risk related reports, ensure that the report is up-to-date if a stakeholder
Operational Experience
Time Split : 10% - all requirements are fully obtained clearly.
- Provide technical support to Customers.
- all audit findings are adhered to and no regulatory fines are issued
- Comply with the relevant regulatory.
- Ensure all legal documentation with external vendors are in place and adhered to i.e. Suppliers & maintenance companies
- (EOS) actions for the Facilities team.

Knowledge, Expertise and Experience
Working and training experience in the Facilities Management field, working and training in several projects having different engineering roles. Working as a site technical manager and making technical support services for maintenance.
