Job Description Business Unit Overview
Due to the rapid growth of our Technology and Enterprise Resilience team, we currently have opportunities for ambitious and highly motivated Project Managers with a proven track record of high quality delivery of client projects. We would like to hear from Project Managers with IT related experience of delivering ERP Projects implementation along with banking environment experience.
Responsibilities
You will be required to possess strong project management skills as the delivery role requires client management, project budgeting and finance management, and coaching and resource management on a portfolio of clients. A key part of delivery will be the creation, review and delivery of complex client deliverables which will include executive level reporting through to detailed design documentation. Delivering and/or assessing large complex ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday, and/or PeopleSoft) programs and/or projects (e.g., serving as a project lead or work stream leader in software implementations). Demonstrates extensive knowledge serving in a leadership role (i.e., project lead, project manager, team leader, functional specialist) on a large complex programs and/or projects (i.e., project lead or work stream leader in software implementations). Demonstrates extensive knowledge in a core project management process area (i.e., IT governance, quality assurance, or SDLC), project management software/tool, and/or ERP or industry specific applications. As an Assistant Manager in the team, the role includes wider practice management responsibilities which will include coaching, training and mentoring junior staff, competency development and market eminence activities. The role sits within a rapidly growing part of PwC’s Technology and Enterprise Resilience team within our Risk Assurance Middle East practice. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for the delivery of ERP solutions /across a range of sectors. You will have access to all of the latest training and development tools and the support of the wider PwC network.
Requirements
The candidate will be achievement oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptive on a daily basis. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team with a fast pace and a high energy that will translate into a high quality output. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject areas such as Engineering, Computer Science, or IT. Mandatory qualifications: The following qualification(s) are mandatory for the candidate to perform the role PMP. Preferable qualifications: The following qualification(s) are preferable and beneficial for the candidate to perform the role ITIL V.3 Foundation, any other certificates related to IT. Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management (IT Banking Projects - Project Management experience), preferably within a professional banking environment. In-depth understanding of Project Management Processes, SDLC methodologies, Project planning, project risk management, communication skills, vendor management, and project closure activities.
