Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job description / Role
Employment: Full Time
HTC Group is currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in our office in Alexandria, Egypt.

Some of the key job responsibilities of this role entail this following:
· Monitoring the Mechanical scope of works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
· Reviewing, approving and processing all Mechanical technical submittals.
· Answering RFI’s related to Mechanical.
· Coordinating and supervising the work of all Mechanical activities and operations.
· Reviewing contractor’s Mechanical change order proposals and preparing recommendations to MEP PM.
· Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.
· Reviewing contractors claims related to Mechanical works and preparing recommendations for claims.
· Reviewing the contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline.
· Managing the Mechanical inspectors.
· Analyzing laboratory and testing reports.
· Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the Mechanical works.
· Signing off on completed Mechanical works with completed documentation.
Requirements
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines: Mechanical Engineering.
· Minimum Fifteen (15) years experience with minimum of 6 years in Construction Administration and 4 years in the Middle East.
· Strong technical background.
· Excellent knowledge of Mechanical systems, products and materials.
· Excellent knowledge of applicable Mechanical design and construction codes.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Excellent command of Microsoft Office business solution (Excel, Word).
· Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation.
· Excellent understanding of specifications and Authority requirements.
· Complete project understanding in given discipline, from start to hand-over.
