Tender & Procurement Engineer for Ecoifm

We are hiring 

Position: Tender & Procurement Engineer
* Job Description:
• Catching new suppliers and vendors, and creating relationships with them.
• Study project drawings, specifications and related documents.
• Receiving quotations from Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors
• Make sure that the quotations comply with the Employer required and provided Specifications
• Prepare comparison Sheet for rates Quoted by Sub Contractors and suppliers
• Breakdown BOQ items that will not be assigned to Subcontractors in order to properly price them
• Perform quantity take off for lump sum project or items
• Finalizing the Commercial Offer including priced BOQ
• Prepare/ review Requests for Quotations RFQs (Request for Quotations) to suppliers.
• Issue Purchase orders for equipment/components.
• Negotiate POs’ (purchase orders) terms with subcontractors/suppliers to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms, etc.
• Sending final PO and cost to purchasing and finance departments in order to proceed with operations.
• Prepare submittals for consultant’s/client’s approval in line with the selected vendor/ supplier as per the department standards.
• Handle technical specifications of required materials and equipment from other departments, offices and analyze the requirements into quotations following the standards.
• Screen new suppliers with accordance to the approved criteria.
* Job requirements:
- Education: Mechanical/Elec. Engineer ( power & light current )
- Experience: 3:5 years in technical office
-Languages: Very Good English
- Computer Proficiency: AutoCAD
- Working days :(Sun-Thru)
- Location: New Cairo
