Head of MENAP Project Delivery Centre

ROLE MISSION STATEMENT
The Head of MENAP Project Delivery Centre will lead the MENAP Project Delivery Centre strategically and commercially. Delight clients so that the PDC business unit grows until it handles all MENAP projects - optimising costs and ensuring fast, high-quality delivery across all the Kantar Insights brands.

KEY OUTCOMES
Hands-on management of small- to large/complex projects overseeing all stages of the project lifecycle (pre-field, in-field and post-field research management) following a briefing from Local Research Management and Client Management Provide the team with strategic direction and insight Apply research knowledge to ensure the best (most cost and time effective and efficient) delivery to Client Service Monitor and manage optimum productivity within each team through continuous assessments of inputs and outputs of each team to ensure balanced workload Initiate, set up and maintain systems and standard operating procedures and the continued improvement thereof To build and ensure effective management of all projects within their Department, ensuring the appropriate level of staffing to deliver to scope, timings and budget Be involved in, contribute to and provide value and insight in discussions around complex or difficult proposals / alternative methodologies Accountable for the quality of work produced by their PDC team (accuracy of inputs to supporting departments and outputs to Client Services) Develop meaningful working relationships with Client Service and other key stakeholders and ensure that client-first ethos is embedded within the PDC Department To drive ISO compliancy within the PDC Department, through training, updates on ISO requirements and policies as and when updates/refreshers are available Responsible for setting, managing and monitoring team targets (in terms of communication, interaction, value add, speed of output, and overall delivery), and for setting and providing guidance around growth and performance objectives A key person in the transformation of the PDC Function by driving behavioural change & creating a high performance culture (holding line reports accountable for accuracy / quality of deliveries and development of direct reports) Acts as an agent of continuous transformation, shaping processes and culture to improve PDC Department capacity for change. Be a key stakeholder in researching, processing, implementing and driving new initiatives within the department and the business. Maintain personal well-being and balance for self and team CAPABILITIES Tertiary education, preferably a degree (B.Com / Business Administration / Project Management / Post Graduate qualification) Must have at least 10+ years’ working experience in the corporate environment, with market research experience essential Must have at least 3-5 years working experience at a senior management level, including relevant project management experience
Must have previous client service and/or research management experience Previous hub or COE experience would be beneficial Must have proven record of work experience in deadline driven pressurized environment High level of business/client understanding and insight Clear, fair decision making ability Nurture/develop team members through coaching and performance management Empowers others by instilling a sense of ownership Live and breathe Kantar Operations vision
