The role will lead the IT agenda for MENA eCommerce and Digital Business. This role has a direct impact on the ecommerce Business in MENA that is expected to grow at 50% in the next 5 years. This role will drive the annual and strategic plans as well as detailed IT Roadmaps for the eCommerce agenda, benchmarking capabilities, aligning on prioritization to create a strategic roadmap in these domains. This role is also accountable for ensuring end to end delivery and deployment of IT eCommerce capabilities from Business case creation, scoping, coordination with external vendors, global and sector IT delivery team.

Key Relationships:

Partner with MENA eCommerce Business lead and her team to align on strategy and E-Commerce agendaPartner with Gulf & Levant Foods (G&L F) and MENA Franchise Business Relationship Management (BRM) to align the agenda; Review progress; Remediate to any roadblocks; etc. to conduct Strategy discussions at annual operating plan and strategic planPartner with Global IT / AMENA Analytics team to align the Analytics agenda; and to deliver E-Commerce solutions when requiredPartner with Global Innovation team to explore E-Commerce InnovationsWork with solutions delivery, technology operations and support services teams (Global, Sector and Region)Manage external vendors and eCommerce partners (e.g. marketplace, omni-channel, e-Groceries and Food Services) to drive related IT agendaInteracts directly with the business key stakeholders and business SMEs to drive appropriate transformation

Accountabilities:



Demand Shaping / Strategy:

Lead the Business Engagement with the MENA eCommerce teams in partnership with the Gulf &Levant Foods and MENA Franchise Business Relationship Management (BRM)Shape the demand needs from the eCommerce teams and translating it to the appropriate IT Solutions that would drive overall Traffic, Conversion and Growth (develop solutions which will drive value for the Business)Own the IT Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Plan as well as detailed roadmaps for the IT eCommerce agendaContinuously Innovate and research on latest IT eCommerce trends and technologies and determine those that will help in MENA eCommerce agendaDeliver key IT eCommerce solutions which include (and not restricted to) - Advanced and Predictive Analytics, Revenue Management, Consumer Relationship Management, Content Management, KPI and Dashboarding

Delivery:

Accountable for the delivery of projects and capabilities in areas of responsibilitiesPartner with Global Analytics team on the Digital and eCommerce agendas to deliver related capabilitiesPartner with external partners on projects deliveryAct as Project / Program manager: Ensure Governance on multiple initiatives and delivery on schedule, scope and budgetOwn Business engagement across projects' lifecycle from requirements gathering to stakeholders' management to testing / rollout and leverage

Leverage:

Identify, assess and promote the leverage of existing eCommerce and Digital capabilities deployed in other AMENA Regions, North American and Europe teams not just within IT but amongst the eCommerce Business leads as well

Skills:

Good Knowledge of IT E-Commerce Capabilities and understanding of Advanced Analytics7 years or more of relevant experience (with at least 5+ years of Analytics and 2+ years of eCommerce knowledge)Advanced Program and Project Management ExperienceExcellent verbal and written English skills / Arabic is nice to haveA University degree in Business, Finance or Information Technology or related field.Demonstrated ability to own and lead an agenda to deliver Business value and growthAdvanced conceptual Selling SkillsStrong influencing skills to drive the agenda within the Region as well as gaining support from across the IT verticalsDeployment Planning and Execution ExperienceGood knowledge of business processes, including for Foods, Beverage. Multinational FMCG corporate experience preferred.Strong Business Relationship Experience, comfortably and confidently interacting with executive management
