Job Title: Accountant
Department: Finance
Reports to: Chief Accountant
Supervises: Runners
Job Description:
The Accountant is responsible for preparing and collecting all information needed to compile and analyze account entries, including assets, liabilities, revenues, expenses, and capital accounts. They manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring adherence to strict procedures and guidelines. This includes documenting transactions, delivering reports, and providing recommendations for actions to be taken.
Main Duties:
•Fulfill the operational requirements of the accounting department, ensuring compliance with all standards.
•Perform data entry and review payment vouchers and journal entries using the designated software platform.
•Manage petty cash and handle day-to-day cash inflows and outflows.
•Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies as necessary.
•Develop and maintain effective internal controls and accounting systems and policies.
•Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of management reports.
•Compile financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual reports.
•Maintain financial documents in compliance with established policies and procedures.
•Execute payroll practices.
•Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
•Collaborate closely with external parties such as banks, vendors, clients, and consultants.
•Handle the invoicing process, including reporting delayed payments and late invoicing.
•Prepare all documents and information required by auditors.
•Ensure compliance with tax and social insurance regulations.
•Secure financial information by completing database backups.
•Maintain confidentiality of information to protect the organization's value.

Job Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field.
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
•Proficiency in English (Very Good).
•IFRS Diploma.
