Role Summary/Purpose

The Commercial & Operations Leader is responsible for the settlement of right operating procedures at the commercial arena as interlink with the different functional poles: Compliance, Finance, Controllership, Tax, Cash collection, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance… Sales operations, dealer’s control and support enter fully under his/her duties.

Essential Responsibilities

Drive Sales Operations processes & mechanisms and coordinate their implementation Drive the business geo-expansion and the Go to Market projects, by taking the lead in Due Diligence and ICP appointments activities Support strategic imperatives (Growth, Simplification & Quality) and initiatives to ensure the fulfillment of business requirements and to optimize business performance. Establishes a methodology for continuous evaluation and follow up of Dealers and Distributors. She/he settles a clear communication with the Commercial Excellence Global Team. Drive Sales processes simplification and best practices sharing. Central point for the commercial organization to keep Compliance processes updated and implemented. Key stakeholder to the Regional DCMs. Ensure that the processes of the Quality Management System (QMS) are implemented and maintained (QSMRs). Support the EHS program and the follow up (EHS contractor safety / EHS training fulfillments).

Quality Specific Goals

Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical environment, regulations and Operations in the affected area (Africa). Deep knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Commercial and Marketing practices and regulations. Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken. Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System. Knowledge of the 1GEHC structure in the specific area.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in Business oriented roles. Ability to articulate & build convincing arguments for internal staff. Excellent presentation skills. Excellent communication skills. Good business knowledge and understanding. Fluent English. French is a must. Arabic is a plus. High work standard and quality. Reliable, responsive, attentive to detail. Sense of the detail Action and results oriented.
