Job Purpose:

Responsible for overseeing and managing a team of data scientists and analysts. They play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and leveraging data to solve complex business problems. The job description of a data science manager may vary depending on the organization .

Job Responsibilities:

Develop data science projects by defining objectives and establishing timelines.
Report results of data science projects to stakeholders, including executives and department managers.
Conduct research to identify new opportunities for data science applications within an organization’s industry or sector.
Determine the technical requirements for data science projects and hiring data scientists accordingly.
Work with other departments within an organization to ensure that their data science needs are met.
Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to provide updates on progress and ensure alignment with objectives.
Coordinate with IT teams to ensure that the infrastructure needed to support data science projects is available.
Review data science proposals to determine whether they are feasible based on available resources.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
+6 Years of experience in related field.
DA-100 Microsoft Data Analysis Certified is advanced.
SAP Analytics cloud (Augmented BI Expert ) Record of Achievement is advanced.
Experience in data cleansing and data orchestration.
Strong evidence of Data modeling and data design ETL.
Hands-on experience Architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse/Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Search.
Experience in the design of reporting & data visualization solutions such as Power BI, and SAC.
Experience with Master Data Management & Data Quality tools.
Experience designing and implementing machine learning solutions as part of high-volume data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
Experience working in a consulting environment and participating in customer-facing pre-sales engagements.
