The Program Manager for Mentorship & Reviews is the key to all operational functions for our network of Mentors and Reviewers. You will design, build (constantly iterating) and implement policies and procedures that are core to our mission of “Students First.” What sets Udacity apart is our exceptional quality of service to students and Mentorship & Reviewers is at the heart of that. We source, train and help grow a huge population of mentors and reviewers all around the world to support our students in different ways. You will ensure that our forum, classroom, one on one and live chat mentors are experts in their fields and exceptional at customer service. You will handle sensitive situations and solve challenging student and reviewer concerns. You will inform the tools they use to interact with our students and constantly seek out their feedback to make improvements. We are looking for a Program Manager who will help us scale our community of mentors and reviewers in the Middle East region.

Technical

You have a strong data background, and are comfortable with data analysis. You are comfortable using and managing data to drive decisions. Provide strategic direction for the product operations and developing and codifying workflows that support both students and Mentors and Reviewers with various tools (Zendesk, Google docs, etc.) and have the savviness to learn new technologies and tools.

Student Facing

You will ensure high graduation and student satisfaction rate. You will act as the escalation point for students and Udacity Mentors & Reviewers when they have concerns and suggestions. You are empathetic and a great listener. You excel in both written and verbal communication. You are a great mediator. You are an enthusiastic problem solver. You are a strong advocate for Udacity students.

Other Qualities

You are able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams (eg. Product, Engineering) and efficiently to get things done. You guide internal teams on product prioritization based on community feedback. You have strong organizational skills and are comfortable with deadlines. You are passionate about learning and can learn quickly. You are passionate about scaling operations and growing with a global team.
