Key Responsibilities

The Data Protection Solutions organization is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an individual contributor role on the META middle East Turkey & Africa Inside technical Sales team. The Inside Product Specialist will be responsible for providing technical sales support for all DPS products (Networker, Avamar, DataDomain, Data Protection Advisor etc) and to assigned accounts in the Commercial or Enterprise segments. The candidate would ideally have knowledge of competitive backup products as well(Veritas, Commvault, Veeam etc).

• Drive Key Performance Indicators

• Provide Technical support for all backup product portfolio.

• Provides technical advice to the inside sales teams during the sales process

• Accountable for delivering technical solutions, products, and /or services that address customer needs of varying complexity (via telephone, chat, web, or e-mail); or working with subject matter expert to address a solution of even higher complexity

• Proactively manage high profile accounts via product road map discussions, quarterly calls & account reviews focused on business priorities, strategies & initiatives

• Intelligently leverage inside and outside resources to provide optimal coverage and competitive advantage to drive incremental opportunities and acquire new customers

• Occasionally attend executive briefing centers briefings with visiting customers

Essential Requirments

• Fluency in English is required

• 5+years of presales and technical experience

• Must have both the necessary technical knowledge and the real-world experience in designing and selling backup solutions

• Experience selling in a professional environment

• Technical experience in data center and applications like Oracle, Exchange etc would be a good add on

• Technical experience working with virtualization software packages such as VMware VSpshere, Microsoft HyperV and Redhat KVM would be a good add on

• Very good communications and interpersonal skills
