GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

“General Accountant” is required for a Multinational Pharmaceutical Company Located in New Cairo.

Responsibilities:
·Monitor and record financial transactions according to Group policies & procedures and applicable local regulations.
· Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other month end reconciliations (i.e.: petty cash, travel expense reports, etc.)
· Record closing journal entries (i.e.: adjusting entries, reconciling accounts, etc.) at each period end and keep the supporting schedules updated.
· Record inter company transactions and assist with reconciliation at period end (inter company matrix and balances confirmation).
·Reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable (sub-ledgers) including ageing balances analysis;
·Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
·Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
·Fluent English is a must.
·1-3 years’ accounting experience.
· Strong knowledge of accounting procedures.
