SENIOR ORACLE DBA

“Senior Oracle DBA” is required in a reputable Maritime Transportation company located in Suez.

Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in communication engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related degree.
· 3+ years of experience in database administration with advanced setup, design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
· Installation and upgrade of Oracle and RAC on 11g versions under UNIX platforms
· Experience in Oracle database administration, database maintenance, and troubleshooting
· Experience in Oracle high availability solution “Real Application Cluster – RAC,” Grid, and ASM administration.
· In-depth understanding of Advanced Architectures (Multi-Node, RAC, ASM)
· Experience in Oracle Database Performance tuning experience and SQL tuning, including I/O, Load Analysis, ADDR, AWR, SQL Profiling, etc.
· Experience in Oracle replication solutions “Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Golden Gate, Manager setup, configuration, and building metrics, managing Oracle Backup and Recovery using the RMAN with all needed policies.
· Experience in Oracle Database installations, migrations, and patch sets updates
· Good scripting skills to automate regular DBA admin tasks.
· Very Good Knowledge and understanding of SQL/PLSQL, Linux OS
· Experience in Enterprise Firms
· Good knowledge of engineered systems (Oracle Exadata) is a plus, core support processes, change management, and maintain documentation standards.
· Having experience with additional database technologies MSSQL or DB2 or Sybase will be an added advantage.
