PHP DEVELOPER

We are looking for a talented PHP Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join Paymob within the fintech industry. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing our web-based applications, plugins, and e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code
Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce platforms, payment integrations, and payment plugins for various CMS and e-commerce platforms
Ensure that web applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security
Write well-designed, reusable, and testable code
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core web-based application and databases
Develop and integrate payment gateways and mobile wallets APIs for various CMS and e-commerce platforms
Optimize, tune, and scale web applications and infrastructure for various CMS and e-commerce platforms
Stay updated with new technologies in PHP web development and their integration with various CMS and e-commerce platforms
Participate in code reviews, maintain proper documentation, and enhance team processes

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
3-5 years of experience in PHP web development
Experience with Symfony, Laravel, or other PHP frameworks
Experience with CMS or e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce, WordPress, Shopify, Magento, and others
Experience with eCommerce platforms and payment gateways is a plus
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience in integrating third-party APIs and RESTful services
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Experience with AWS cloud services and deployment is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
