DATA ENGINEER

Available Vacancy: Data Engineer
Type: Full-timeJob Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of robust and scalable data pipelines, ensuring efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design data architecture and create data models and database schemas that optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
Implement best practices for data design, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the data warehouse.
Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve data engineering processes and enhance the overall data infrastructure.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of data platforms.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering, data architecture, and industry best practices.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes, systems, and data warehouse design.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business intelligence.
Proficiency in implementing and managing dashboards and reports is preferred.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Exhibit experience with at least one major BI platform such as Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar tools.
Possess a solid understanding of data modeling concepts, and if possible, experience with data modeling techniques.
Familiarity with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
Display the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
