Internal Audit - Follow Up

About the job

Role Summary:

Responsible for all the work related to following up on closing the recorded observations in the final reports of the audit programs implemented on the bank’s branches / departments in his/her scope of work & that is in accordance with the degree of risks associated, aiming to ensure the compliance with policies, procedures and controls.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow-up on the branches/departments that went through follow up programs regarding the closing status for the observations recorded in the final report to be reviewed at the specified times and in accordance with the organizing instructions, in addition to obtaining the necessary supporting documents for fulfillment to be presented to the direct manager.
  • Follow-up on the concerned branches/departments to get their feedback regarding the handling of the recorded observations by the external control authorities (Bank Accounts Auditors / The Control and supervision sector of the Central Bank of Egypt), collect these comments and prepare a consolidated report to be presented to the direct manager in accordance with the specified timings.
  • Following & applying the best professional practices in the process of following up on the recommendations, preparing and presenting the required data and reports.
  • Participate in the preparation of the database related to the work done by department.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Team-Mate Audit Software Hands-on Experience is a MUST.
  • The ability to analyze and draw conclusions from practical and technical experiences.
  • Familiarity with the systems, laws, regulations and instructions organizing the work of the bank.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with internal audit methods and checking the quality of the executed work.
  • Good knowledge of writing and presenting reports skills.
  • Good English Language.

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, 3 of which within Internal Audit / Risk is -highly preferable-.
  • Cairo Residents.
  • No current relatives at Banque Misr.
