Job Summary:

The Security Architecture provides Information Security expertise and contributes to the success of the Information Security function achieving Banque Misr Information Security baseline mandated requirements defined by Banque Misr including but not limited to implementing new Security layers and creating new powerful monitoring function plus insuring that security standards and requirements are implemented by all technology functions relevant to the job function.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security of an organization’s computer system.
• Study existing security hardware and software and make recommendation for their improvement.
• Identifies weak spots in a cyber security system that may use some red teaming activities to be able to determine the gaps and create procedures to manage the threat.
• Provides consultancy and manage security requirements and provide them with recommendation, HLD that will be cascaded to the Engineering & operations teams.
• Ensure new services follows latest security standards through and it is compliance with the CBE framework.
• Ensure that right access/authority given to the right person.
• Ensure abiding the relevant information security controls with the security standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) & CBE framework.
• Study the effect of new service/promotion on systems security.
• Generate Weekly, Monthly Report to keep track on Security KPI.
• Study of new Security concepts or technologies.
• Have the knowledge and Familiarity with Information Security frameworks/standards (i.e. CIS, NIST .. etc)
• Maintain deep Knowledge of computer networking and infrastructure systems.
• Understand the organization's technology, IT systems and business services to perform prober Security gap analysis.
• Plan and research for designing security architectures across Bank Misr’s different systems.
• Develop, review and approve the installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices.
• Research, design public key infrastructures, certification authorities, and digital signatures, and ensuring all personnel have IT access limited to their need and role in the organization.
• Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting security breach drills.
• Perform post-event security incident analysis, evaluate the business impact and propose recommendations and actions not to hit in similar incidents in the future.
• Monitor and guide the security team, cultivating a sense of security awareness, and arranging for continuous education.
• Remain up to date with the latest security systems, standards, protocols, and security solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor or master Degree in Telecommunication/electronics/computer engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in security architecture and Information Security positions.
