Additional to the process and technological know-how in the manufacturing of products we have experienced teams handling the building, infrastructure, and utilities side for our Greenfield as well as Brownfield projects. It allows us an inside-out planning approach, providing our clients with the best fit, most innovative as well as highly efficient and sustainable solution.

PROJECTS OUTLINE:

a) The core tool, method, and documentation platform in planning / engineering of a plant, facility, process area is the CAD based layout – established and maintained by you

b) Greenfield as well as Brownfield plant planning and realization: production – logistic – support functions – overall plant integration including building, utilities, infrastructures, and traffic

c) Process layouts, Building layouts, Plant layouts for Automotive production, E-Mobility projects (Battery, E-drive systems, …), Manufacturing plants, Logistic facilities (E-Commerce, 3PL)

TASKS:

 Establishing, developing, optimizing, maintaining, modifying of CAD Process layouts as key team member and core function within a project organization.

 Independent control, coordination and implementation of all necessary activities to build a holistic factory model.

 Developing of process lines / areas and plant designs from block level up to the real physical status (realized) – manufacturing, logistics, building, infrastructure.

 Creating 2D and 3D layouts, elevations, section views – based on own designs as well as integrating and optimizing inputs by project members, partners, and vendors.

 Data management for all relevant structure, building and plant data of an overall project.

 Maintaining, optimizing, and developing standards, tools, and methods for enhancing and acceleration of our project delivery.

 Adhering to norms and customer standards as well as guidelines (environment, fire protection, safety, ergonomics, …) + progressing a leading PAC toolbox / WIKI database.

 Cooperation with internal/external planning, engineering, and simulation teams – including client organizations and approval bodies.

 Verification and optimization of the process – managing interfaces and resolving issues – preparation and implementation of solutions along with documentation.

 Ensuring a high-quality planning and documentation status – from concept to “as-built” status.

 Moving towards higher levels of Digital Engineering based on your drive, ideas, and determination.

 Digital twin of processes and plant designs = matching 3D virtual status with real situation

QUALIFICTION:

Study in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Production Technology, etc. – production, logistics, building, and facilities related background and knowledge

 Professional experience (> 5 years) in production and plant planning, factory planning, building planning (MEP) – gained at OEMs / TIER 1 suppliers (automotive) or engineering service providers.

 Expert level knowledge on Autodesk products = AutoCAD, Inventor, Factory Design Utilities, etc.

 Further CAD Layout programs as benefit: MicroStation – Catia | as well: Simulation programs

 Fluent English as must (writing & speaking) – further languages as additional asset.

 Well knowledge of Microsoft software (Office) – additional engineering software knowledge for sure welcome

Experience / Knowledge in engineering tools and methods – associated with your background.
