Role Purpose
The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation Manager to ensure that employee transport for social (as directed) and non-sociable hours are scheduled properly, in accordance with local law and company policy. This person is also responsible for analytics relating the transport services for the company, vendor management, and predictive problem solving when external factors are at hand (strikes, extreme weather, etc.).
What This Job Involves
- Responsible for documenting and evolving processes as it relates to transport requests & services
- Auditing & analytic reporting to ensure processes are being followed in accordance with company policy
- Problem solving to address unplanned external factors (weather, strikes, etc.)
- Project work as it relates to improving processes, user interface & technology for transport portal
- Escalation & complaint management
- Invoicing as directed
- Responsible for researching new programs, pilots, or improvements as it related to transport function
- All other tasks and duties as assigned

- Ability to document processes in SOP formatting
- Ability to interpret processes and company policies to ensure compliance in daily practice
- Strong communication skills
- Vendor Management experience
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated work experience in similar field or role
