Sales Engineer                                                                                                   

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of the robusta’s products, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs.
  • Create solutions for selling into prospect account base
  • Working with sales executives and business units to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
  • Identifying customer pains, needs and goals and finding proper matches within our offerings
  • Successfully matching customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
  • Consulting potential customers on the best product market fit for their pains/requirements
  • Creating and delivering powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Managing all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
  • Modeling the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
  • Effectively communicating client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
  • Collecting and documenting competitive intelligence and insights
  • Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer or technical pre sales
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner. Relate technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good leadership and team working skills.
  • Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions within the technology field is a plus
