Social Media Manager

Job Summary:

The social media manager will be leading the media buying planning and execution. Required to develop media plans, implement media strategies and follow best practices, to ensure meeting all set objectives & KPIs. He/she will also be attending to the different clients’ briefs and requests including but not limited to content planning, channels’ and community management. The position consists of two main layers: Media Buying, Community Management.

  • Strong knowledge of the social media business

  • Strong written and verbal Arabic + English (French is a plus)
  • Able to analyse insights while giving qualitative highlights and recommendations

  • Digital marketing / Business / degree with experience in digital marketing

Responsibilities:

Overall:

  • Own and manage the social media buying scope
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the different stakeholders
  • Assist the lead analyst with qualitative reporting and analysis
  • Work with the team strategist, content lead, community managers and analyst
  • Achieve strong KPIs through the paid campaigns and explore new areas of improvement/development
  • Generate POEs for paid promotions and collaborate with the finance team
  • Oversee community managers’ reports and assist with the recommendations and highlights
  • Channels’ management and community building
  • Create monthly content calendars
  • Operate as the focal point with the platforms’ POCs and attend to the latest trainings
