Regional Road Logistics Go to Market Specialist                                            

About the job

The regional road logistics marketing administrator is responsible for creating a strategic plan that boosts Kuehne + Nagel’s road logistics & customs brokerage brand in Middle East Africa internally and externally.

 

Your Role

 

Working in close cooperation with the regional and country management teams, marketing, and global communications, the marketing administrator’s main purpose is to create content. Develop internal content to drive colleagues’ awareness and engagement in the organization such as presentations, newsletters, blogs, etc. Develop external content to drive customer, supplier, press awareness, and engagement such as LinkedIn posts, blogs, podcasts, running campaigns, website content e.g. customer testimonials, press releases, etc.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Develop an overall communications strategy that promotes the region, internally and externally.
  • Create timely and engaging content that is optimized for whatever platform the stories are published on, e.g. content for the company website, intranet, LinkedIn, Instagram, podcasts, video creation and editing etc.
  • Enhance and maintain the regional road logistics and customs brokerage internal and external websites.
  • Possess technical skills to edit pictures and video content. Be able to use PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, oral, written and presentation skills. Support the regional teams to identify stories and bring them to life.
  • Enthusiastic, self-driven and having a positive attitude to gain trust of colleagues and external parties.
  • Liaise with external partners for the production of special marketing initiatives including collecting quotes and the supervision of work performed by third parties.
  • Alignment with the global BU communication manager for co-ordination and approval processes particularly in regards to external communication.

 

Your Skills And Experiences

 

  • First experience in executing marketing / communication initiatives within a permanent employment or internship
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated to produce aggressive results
  • Hands-on and willing to create things by own initiative
  • Willing and interested to travel occasionally
  • Very good English skills
  • Technically able to edit pictures and videos and fully competent across all social media platforms
