Standard & Compliance Engineer for Group Eseb

Multinational company located in Borg Al Arab, Alexandria is looking to hire a “Standard & Compliance Engineer ”

Main duties:-

Contribute to the successful development of new products:
– Ensure that the product portfolio assigned to it complies with the standards and regulations applicable in the countries for which it is intended. These standards and regulations cover the areas of safety, health, and the environment.
– By full field (S) standard sheet in EMQS with Quality leader during the development project and according to the selected product development processes (group processes called EPO process)
– By contacting internal and external labs for a standard test.
– Collaborate with the supply chain and BU Norms team
Audit and follow up on products recertification
– Follow up certification and recertification process
– By follow up on local and international standards updates related to RDC scope
Ensure BEA products comply with local and international standards:
· As there are no harmonized standards and regulations. It is therefore necessary to have a precise knowledge of the standards in force depending on the marketing area.
· Specify standard references for each product
· Understand the technical requirements/test for each product and needs to comply with each market.
· Issue test requests for internal and external lab
· Review the certification process with the BU Norms team.
· Follow up recertification file and compare with last standard updates/issues. In the event of regulatory or normative changes, it is essential to review the affected product portfolio and ensure compliance within the given timeframe.
· Follow with legal department’s local requirements for BEA products & products for export
· Support logistics team with needed certificates for import/export
· Benchmark between local technical standard requirements and international technical requirements for BEA products & products for export
· Highlight any risk that could affect product compliance. Standards and regulations change frequently. It is therefore necessary to stay informed so as to be able to anticipate the consequences for projects and for the existing portfolio.
· Make a monthly meeting with the BU Norms team for follow up
· Attend BU and external Audit for product conformity
