The Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud & Infrastructure will be a member of a brand new team. The team will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of a technology new to Dell for addressing the demands of 5G solutions and to help our customers to exploit this significant market evolution.

You will:

• Manage and operate a complete cloud-based infrastructure: Kubernetes cluster(s), service mesh, managed resources (databases, message bus, storage), etc
• Write deployment artifacts and extensions, such as Helm charts and Kubernetes operators
• Design and implement a monitoring and alerting strategy using both in-house software such as Kubernetes probes and custom scripts, and open-source or commercial solutions (i.e.: Prometheus, Elastic, Datadog, OpsRamp, etc)
• Manage a complete CI/CD framework and design, implement, maintain, and test associated pipelines
• Integrate automated scanning tools for code quality, testing, and security in CI/CD environment
• Integrate 3rd party PKI management solution(s) in automated build environments to facilitate implementation of a Zero-Trust Architecture (ZTA)

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in a DevOps environment
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Gitlab, Github , CircleCI, Jenkins, Concourse, Spinnaker
• Familiar with infrastructure as code (i.e.: Terraform, etc)
• Design and monitoring of deployed environments, automated test results and builds using dashboards such as Grafana/Prometheus, ELK stack
• Experience in containers/container orchestration platforms like Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
  
  

Desirable Requirements

• Virtualized Network Functions (VNF/NFV) knowledge & cloud technologies
• LTE architecture knowledge, DPDK knowledge, networking
• Microservices architecture experience
• Experience with REST API’s and familiarity with JSON, YAML formats
• Setup and maintenance of artifact repository management tools like Artifactory, Nexus
• Experience with static code analysis tools like CodeSonar, Sonarqube, Coverity, Klocwork
