Senior Network Security Engineer

– Architecture design review.
– Deeps analyses of all security prevention layers ( Configuration assessment and review for Palo Alto, FortiGate, TrendMicro IPS ) on-premise and cloud.
– Applying best practices and traffic flow optimization.
– Create and document the optimum process and procedures for applying any required configuration
– Heath checking for appliances, traffic, and event log analyses and takes the required actions as well as creates the required technical document for detailed procedures of the whole process
– Knowledge transfer and training for the team
– Full documentation for the whole setup.
– Working on projects from service creation to service operations.
– Providing required support for any issues related to Firewalls s, IPS, Reverse Proxies, load balancers as well as traffic flow over the network infrastructure.
– Handling daily operation requests on Security appliances.
– Providing security assessment and risk reviews on a timely basis as well as over the submitted change requests.
– Performing complex changes, which involve working on non-standard architectures and standard architectures.
– Preparing and attending Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to discuss the security impact of any changes.
– Proactive Monitoring and Incident Management
– Resolving complex security incidents on a complete security portfolio
– Provide leadership during security incidents and provide technical advice during the time of crisis.
– Excellent troubleshooting skills for network infrastructure
– Excellent communication skills on all levels
– Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines
– CCNP Security or equivalent is a must
– Minimum 6 years of experience in the same field
location: Nile City Towers.
Working days and hours: Sunday to Thursday from 9:00AM – 5:00PM
