Role Purpose: Managing Network Planning to ensure consistent quality of service for our customers and reducing the cost without affecting the targeted quality, including supporting existing network topology and assisting in planning for future network upgrades.

1. Network Expansions - Responsible of all network expansions plans for all the hardware resources in the network for best fitting the current network and assisting the future customer requests according to forecasts and unplanned projects.

2. Preparing the yearly plan according to forecast - The forecast is sent by the Corporate and the consumer Business units. Accordingly, the Network Planning team build his plans for the coming year in terms of Hardware recourses, Transmission Links and budget needed. Also The allocation of resources is divided according to the services required.

3. Approvals for new Bandwidth requests for enterprise customers - The Planning team is the capacity and resources owner for the network and the decisions are based on current utilization, future expansion and resources availability. Preparing the network for enterprise customer installation

4. Owner of all Migration / Allocation Plans - The Planning team is owner of all migration / allocation plans for all the hardware resources in the network for best fitting the current network and assisting the future customer requests according to forecasts and unplanned customer projects, aligning with all stakeholders.

5. Purchase orders - The Planning team is responsible for all Purchase orders for all devices needed for the network.

6. Network Resources Availability - The Planning team is responsible for availability of all network resources ( hardware and transmissions ) according to the forecasts.

7. Core Plans - Preparing all core plans to accommodate MI and Fixed traffic, CDNs and DPI Expansions. International links activation, Core ring links activation & MI links activation
