Head of Products - ADI Consumer Finance  - (210000ER)

Description

• To design, build, optimise and launch asset products.
• Manage products portfolio for ADI-Consumer Finance.
• Work with other partners on realizing overall ADI-CF value proposition/Business model.

Work with other peers on achieving business and portfolio KPIs.

Functional:

• Lead on system implementation for ADI-CF for product features and parameters.
• Act as the key contact with MDP and other partners for necessary collaborations.
• Manages business partners and design working business models.
• Liaise with Marketing, Technology, Risk, and Finance in formulating a well performing products.
• Develops business cases with necessary market assessment information, current market practices, product offerings, competition strategies, sourcing channels and risk mitigate.
• Liaises with Finance Planning & Analytics for developing and maintaining the detailed product profitability reports.
• Post launch, the requirement will be effective portfolio monitoring.
• Monitors performance of Product Line against key measures. 
• Report results with recommendations about performance.
• Ensures up to date knowledge is kept about developing technologies and implemented as appropriate.
• Manages the Product Mix, and Product positioning of all existing and new products.
• Manages product performance against the set targets.
• Manages the key aspects of the income statements such as revenues, expense.
• Implements governance, risk, compliance and control in line with group policies. 
• Interface with operations and other functions to ensure that there is a broad understanding of the product processing requirements and meeting business set targets.
• Follows up on completion of all underlying tasks with business partners which involves the implementation of end-to-end process for new products and services, working with products, channels, operations and IT to ensure that they are fit for purpose and implemented timorously and effectively.
• Ensures Governance, Compliance, Risk and Control are implemented and adhered to meet Group Standards as well as CBE regulations.
• And any other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

• University/College Degree.
• Head level: Min. 10 years of experience preferably with rounded experience in Cards business, Islamic products, Portfolio Management, Product Development, Sales, Partnership Management.   

Generic Skills:

• Digital tech savvy.
• Strong negotiation skills
• High communication skills
• High level of numeracy to evaluate complex statistical financial information.
• Initiative & Proactively
