To provide assurance over the effectiveness and adequacy of IT controls across the business by reviewing IT General Controls, Application Controls over various systems, and IT operations, as well as, pro-actively advising the business on the implementation of new systems, procedures and controls

• Executes the IT audit plan, as approved including any special tasks requested by Technology Audit head in order to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal control systems 
• Ensures proper and timely rectification of audit findings
• Provides valuable recommendations to the business reviewed to guide them in mitigating and controlling all deficiencies and gap

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, or computer science
• 4 to 6 years of relevant IT Audit / IT Risk / Information Security experience
• Strong understanding of IT General Controls and technology processes
• Understanding of IT frameworks, standards and best practice such as COBIT, ISO27001, NIST, ITIL etc.
• Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC certifications is an advantage
• knowledge about banking industry and CBE regulations is a plus
