Job Role Summary
Supervise all tests required for all products and raw materials in accordance with approved QC and guide specifications using approved test methods and revise/approve the relevant certificate of analysis while ensuring that testing and reporting are performed accurately and timely.
Perform, revise and keep records of scheduled maintenance, calibration and SQC for laboratory equipment, Handle communication with equipment's agents to make necessary maintenance, services and new equipment, commissioning. Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals required for efficient operation.
Keep approved and updated QC requirements products and raw materials and update QALIMS Sample Types and Methods when required and get the necessary approval for the changes.
Maintain laboratory working instructions for all equipment and activities and ensure that they are applied in-line with DIAF, QP&G &ISO. Perform training and test method assessments for Technicians to ensure quality work and approved testing methods are in place.
Run the Experimental blends for new products or to modify existing formulation to meet quality requirements as well as quality assignment for new projects & improve LBO process to achieve the max savings.
Provide support for Sales & Marketing through supervising the used oil analysis required for solving customer's technical problem and customer complaints in timely and precise manner.
Implement and follow up OIMS regulations, procedures & guidelines in his domain to ensure full compliance of all laboratory Technicians, equipment and facilities with OIMS.
