Job Responsibility

Roles Requirements:

 Role Purpose:
We are looking for passionate and energetic DevOps engineers with extensive experience on designing and implementing of processes and tools that can enable continuous integration and continuous delivery across different IT teams. You will continuously work on evolving both the DevOps stack and private cloud setup based on OpenShift.

   Accountabilities, Competencies & KPIs
•   Designing & implementing of processes and tools to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery, maximizing the speedand quality of delivery across teams
•   Automating build, release, deployment, and configuration activities
•   Working closely with software engineers, QA, and systems engineers to understand requirements and prototype, architect, implement, operate and update DevOps solutions accordingly.
•   Educating and fostering self-service and efficiency wherever possible.

KPIs:

•   % of developers/systems on boarded on DevOps platform
•   Incidents P1/P2 in Prod due to Change/Release.
•   DevOps tools Availability
•   Increase Release Frequency

 Qualifications:

•   3-6 years of DevOps platform management in large delivery organizations
•   Extensive Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying DevOps toolchains
•   RedHat OpenShift or Kubernetes Experience

-   Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
-   Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
-   EX180: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes
-   Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
-   Elastic Certified Engineer Exam
-   Version Control - Git
-   Continues Integration – Continuous Delivery - CI/CD – Jenkins
-   Docker - Containers
-   Kubernetes – OpenShift – Rancher - Tanzu

Additional (plus) skills:
-   Elastic - Elasticsearch - Elastic stack
-   Configuration Management - Ansible
-   Monitoring – Prometheus – Grafana
-   Programming – Java – shell scripting – Python
-   Infrastructure as Code – IaC – Terraform
