The Role

As a fundamental member of Vezeeta USA, you will play a significant role in contributing to the growth and success of Vezeeta. This is a position that will see you gain experience and skills in a wide range of areas as well as working at the forefront of the health-tech industry by using your expertise to fulfill the organization's goals and offering insight into the startup process.

You will be challenged to think creatively and overcome business challenges in a fast-paced team environment and you will work in a cross-functional role and contribute in multiple areas including Business Development, Business analytics, Marketing & Operations. You will be challenged to analyze data to solve complex problems, identify strategic insights and opportunities, and plan business initiatives which shape the future of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategic and operational plan to launch and scale a new business verticals based on a deep understanding of unmet consumer needs
  • Use lean startup methodology to oversee the design and build of an MVP brand design.
  • Own the P&L and set clear financial goals for growth targets, margin profile, and budget
  • Leverage shared resources throughout the company to stand up new products and then build the internal and external teams to drive growth
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to understand the customer journey and design roadmaps to drive retention
  • Drive the brand storytelling and act as the lead evangelist for external facing media opportunities
  • Evolve the brand based on customer feedback while also defining exactly when to abandon the current path and start fresh
  • Get involved with a startup at its earliest stages
  • Generate key insights and novel technology solutions that solve key problems facing humanity in big or expanding markets
  • Partner with co-founders to understand the target customer and shape the overall product vision, architecture, and roadmap
  • Identify, clarify and validate the value proposition for a proposed solution with key features and ROI analysis
  • Own and ensure customer satisfaction with early, key customers so that they are referenceable
  • Recruit key members of the team to ensure success
  • CEO-focused founders will be in charge of launching the product, owning the go-to-market strategy, closing early sales, securing and negotiating strategic partnerships, and ensuring that the company is hitting its milestones towards its next funding
  • CTO-focused founders will be both a hands-on builder - writing code that serves as the v1 basis for exciting new products - and a technical strategist - developing the long-term technical strategy for the company and translating it into our overall product roadmap

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Science, Economics or related field.
  • Typically leads, or has led, a small, early-stage, emerging company deemed to have high-growth potential for 3 to 5 Years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve complex problems both individually and in a team environment
  • Should have a proven ability to generate, research, and lead ventures, along with domain knowledge in fintech, insurtech, and data analytics
  • A curiosity to learn and a willingness to adapt as new and different challenges emerge
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Have the ability to nurture expansion, new-product development, or restructuring of a company's operations, management, or ownership
  • Optimize internal processes to more effectively and efficiently run day-to-day operations
