The Role

The engineering department at Vezeeta is having highly skilled technology engineer with business knowledge and technical expertise to implement strategies, evaluate processes, and build upon an infrastructure that supports the ever-changing needs of our customers. In this role, you will work with different systems, designing, developing, and integrating them at every stage of the life cycle. If you are reliable in delivering mission-critical solutions with the goals of accessibility, optimization, and security, you could be our ideal candidate. This is a position that will see you gain experience and skills in a wide range of areas as well as working at the forefront of the health-tech industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site daily ITIL-based service desk operations to include customer incident management, problem management escalation, resolution, and interface with higher technical levels for efficient and timely server, client, application, and infrastructure issues
  • Troubleshoot system issues and resolve them in a professional, timely, and customer-centric manner
  • Configure and deploy systems, both laptops, and virtual desktops
  • Implement procedures and proactively manage and maintain service request tickets
  • Provide Technical consultations to the operational teams
  • Perform telephone system moves/adds/changes as required
  • Define and document best practices, solution, and support procedures
  • Supervise IT Asset management
  • Maintain Call Center Solution, VoIP Solutions, and any related equipment, services.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new users.
  • Provide occasional after-hours support for infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other field
  • 0-2 years of experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  • Experience providing first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software and application problems
  • CCNA and MCSE certification is a strong plus
  • Outstanding customer service skills, ideally demonstrated through a previous service-industry
  • Proactive follow-up, effective problem resolution, and end-to-end ownership of the problems is required.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Windows, MacOS and Office365
  • Experience with help desk software
  • PBX servers, VoIP device, and IP Phones Configuration and Troubleshooting knowledge will be considered a plus
  • Strong oral communication and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
