Job Description

Role:
Ensures the product availability in the right quantity, SKUs' in targeted DC within specified timings with the best possible cost to meet sales demand.

Accountabilities:

1. Develop the daily shipment plans based on forecasted sales to DCs to meet AOP objectives through daily communication with the Production planning & DC's manager.
2. Monitors the daily process of distribution and scheduling for all CFI Egypt SKUs starting from initiating the distribution plan and till follow-up the delivery of the product to the distribution centers, considering lead times transit quantities and DC's storage capacity.
3. Team up with Fright manager in preparing StratPlan (3-year) and AOP (1-year) deployment budgets in co-ordination with the sourcing plans by the Production planning Manager& Freight manager to achieve targets.
4. Team up with freight manager to define the final deployment sourcing matrix and all contingencies plans to close any gabs that can hinder achieving AOP
5. Document and communicate the final deployment targets to freight in plants and DC’s to ensure consistent delivery
6. Come up with ideas or solutions to achieve cost optimization (lowest cost with highest level of service) with the Production Planning Manager & Freight manager to ensure deployment plan is implemented without any drawbacks in related areas
7. Developing the daily deployment plan with respect to the production plan and finished goods stock produced in plants and ensures execution of the deployment plan to distribution centers and Distributors as well as ensuring fair share distribution across the DC network.
