Access Product Manager

Job Description

This position belongs to Network Solutions Sales Department. You will work closely with sales and Access product management teams to develop a technical proposal that meets customer needs and enhance Huawei's market share in Egypt. You will focus on pre-sales functions and be responsible for identifying business opportunities through market analysis, developing customer requirements through the presentation, and collaboration with customers.

 

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the telecom and datacom industries and will be able to manage complicated projects independently and successfully. Technical and sales experience from a service provider or an equipment vendor is considered a key strength.

 

Job Responsibilities

1. Expand the projects at the representative office level. Further relationships with the customers' junior- and mid-level personnel and technical personnel.

2. Independently gain insights into customers, develop the solution, conduct network design, bidding, and quotation for multiple products.

3. Execute the brand marketing activities following established branding strategies.

4. Collect and analyze project competition information, participate in developing and executing competition strategy.

5. Be able to communicate with carriers' technical personnel and design and communicate with them about future-oriented access network transformation solutions.

6. Gain insights into customers' live network problems and challenges, propose future-oriented Fix access (FTTH) network architecture design based on the industry development trend, and provide technical suggestions on network evolution.

 

 

Job requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience as a system engineer or product manager.

2. Have professional Fix network access network knowledge (FTTH).

3. Requirement understanding and solution design capability: Be able to understand customer network and business requirements, and design solutions by comprehensively considering products, competition, profitability, and deliverability.

4. Understand customers' pains and strategy from the network viewpoint.

5. Ability to make a good technical presentation to customers is most important.

6. Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of people (product management, engineering, marketing).

7. Ability to show creativity and a different way of thinking.

8. Customer communication and guidance capabilities: Be able to effectively transfer the value of products and solutions.

9. Project operation capability: Be able to develop solution strategies, implement solutions, and achieve project success.
