IP Product Manager

Job Description

This position belongs to Network Solutions Sales Department. You will work closely with sales and IP product management teams to develop a technical proposal that meets customer needs and enhance Huawei's market share in Egypt. You will focus on pre-sales functions and be responsible for identifying business opportunities through market analysis, developing customer requirements through the presentation, and collaboration with customers.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the telecom and datacom industries and will be able to manage complicated projects independently and successfully. Technical and sales experience from a service provider or an equipment vendor is considered a key strength.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop product solution material to meet customer demand and to articulate Huawei value proposition
• Attend customer meetings to develop business opportunities
• Manage project from the opportunity to contract
• Conduct product competitive & market analyses
• Technical prime for pre-sales projects

Job requirements:

• Excellent knowledge in IP network solution (IP Core, IP Metro, IPRAN…) and its cost structure;
• Excellent knowledge in IP network insight and design, and could make a new design for IP network, good understanding for IP Trend;
• Excellent knowledge in IP technologies and feature (MPLS, MPLS-Traffic Engineering, BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, IPv4, IPV6, SRV6, slicing, flex-E, L3VPN, TCP/IP, SR...) ;
• Good understanding of IP Service and customer's thinking and concerns;
• Solid knowledge of business modeling, profitability analysis, and project management;
• Excellent communication and presentation and skills (including presentation material development and presenting to customer);
• Self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment;
• Proven ability to successfully manage projects from start to finish;
