Join our team as a Materials Management & Distribution Coordinator, North Africa.
 
Purpose of the role:
The successful candidate will act as a member who will Provide strategic and tactical support to the MM&D and procurement business facing teams in North Africa, to execute functional accountabilities, prioritize and integrate activities and allocate resources across the teams to deliver the AOP, functional and business visions. 
In this role you will:
•    Support and execute as relevant the MM&D and procurement in day-to-day activities, planning ahead, monitoring and prioritizing delivery of actions and initiatives, and ensuring they fit well with the priorities of the business and the function
•    Adopt an approach which leverages digital tools, stakeholder engagement and integration to ensure timely and effective delivery of materials and services to the business per the required schedules.
•    Works in an agile manner leveraging GBS, ILVC, supply and business facing teams to support developing strategies that create value and enable supply chain solutions to deliver operationalized contracts to meet business needs
•    Drives development and improvement of efficient and effective supply chains to achieve the business’ safety, reliability and quality targets.
•    Manage the performance of select ‘out of region’ teams, to ensure the business and functions priorities are delivered, and interventions / recommendations necessary to improve performance are well articulated, structured, and communicated to the procurement business leadership team.
•    Run analytics to examine, and deep dive as necessary into procurement data, performance trends, and key performance indicators to recommend interventions and improvement, and lead those when required as well as performance manage the delivery of the AOP
•    Lead specific projects to successful completion using effective project management tools.
•    Support the business facing procurement delivery team with supplier performance management, contract management and demand planning.

Essential Education

Join our team as a Process and Process Safety Engineering Team Leader !
 

Purpose of the role:
The successful candidate will act as a senior member in the Process and Process Safety Engineering Team, he or she will manages and coaches a team of direct reports, driving the appropriate behaviours to 
achieve success, including a continuous improvement culture.
In this role you will:

  • Takes an overview of process safety in the region to ensure that performance is maintained
  • Manages all aspects of regional discipline health, including competency, team size and recruitment
  • Manages and coaches a team of direct reports, driving the appropriate behaviours to achieve success, including a continuous improvement culture. Identifies capability gaps and puts gap closure plans in place (Comment: Training offers include Challenge)    
  • Lead the Region’s HAZOP and LOPA revalidation programs and implementation of sub discipline F4S barrier assessments
  • Maintains the relevant suite of engineering processes and tools for the discipline. Ensures compliance to agreed regional Standards/Processes, endorsing deviations where needed.
  • Leads the regional effort on production improvement (Comment: Relevant activities include debottlenecking, maintaining and using process models, identifying production improvement opportunities).


We have the following requirements:

  • Egyptian nationality
  • Proficient in English
  • 10 -15 years   experience
  • BSc or BEng or MEng (UK), BSc (US), or international equivalent in Chemical Engineering 
  • or relevant engineering subject.
  • Extensive technical understanding of process engineering and process safety principles.
  • People leadership and stakeholder management experience.
