Senior Mechanical Procurement Engineer
Job responsibilities:
• study the project documents (specifications - quantities measurement - contract - drawings - time schedule)
• Preparing materials approval requests for project needs
• Follow up on the approvals of samples and suppliers - with the project consultant and the engineer of the technical office on the site.
• Compare prices with study prices.
• Negotiate with suppliers to reach the most appropriate prices.
• Make a plan for the needs and contracts of the project.
• Contracting with the appropriate suppliers to meet the needs of the project.
• Preparing supply orders for materials or systems to be imported.
• Negotiate payment terms with suppliers to obtain the largest financial benefits for the company.
• Participation in the preparation of the final financial and technical reports for the Director of needs department
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within procurement.
• A construction background is a must.
• (5-7) years’ Experience
