Key Responsibilities

Safety/LossPrevention

Implements through site/locationsafety personnel safety, loss prevention and occupational health programs forcompliance with applicable local and regional SHE regulations for multiplesites within a business unit. Review facility operations byparticipating in 2nd Party SHE Audits and by consulting with business units,safety committees, Pioneer SHE networks and employees to identify unsafetyworking conditions and develop appropriate controls or alternatives.Support, coordinate and analyzeoccupational safety and health, industrial hygiene and appropriateenvironmental regulations and laws and recordkeeping for completeness andconsistency.Assist line managers withinterpretation and implementation of all facets of risk management workReviews new equipment and processesfor potential hazards and recommends modifications before introduction.

IndustrialHygiene

Implement programs to meet businessneeds and ensure compliance with occupational safety and healthregulations/laws.Support, Implement and performindustrial hygiene sampling and recordkeeping strategies.Perform industrial hygiene samplingto monitor gases, vapors, dust, noise, temperature. Documents findings and makes recommendations.Maintain monitoring equipment andsupplies.Perform calibration of equipmentfor field use and instruct on equipment utilization.
