Caritas Egypt – Alexandria Refugees project urgently hiring the following: (Internal & External job announcement)

1- Project Focal Point

2- Senior Social Worker

Contract type: Full Time

Reports to: Project Manager

1- Project Focal Point

(Covering both Basic need and health care services) working on full time basis.

2- Senior Social Worker

Senior social worker will carry out monitoring on home visits, reporting and awareness camps .

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Degree in public administration or other related field.

• 4 to 6 years of experience for the focal point & 3 to 5 years of experience for the senior social worker in social work or related field.

• Experience working with refugee population preferred.

• Experience in regular report writing.

Preferred Skills and language:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Previous experience in leading teams.

• Good computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel…)

• Excellent organizational and planning skills

• Excellent drafting skills

• Ability to work under pressure

• Ability to gain trust and build relationships with new communities.

• Flexibility to adapt to new roles, tasks and situations;

• Ability to negotiate, mediate and interpret on behalf of service users;

• creative thinking and problem-solving;

• compassion and the ability to empathize with people’s life experiences;

Language Skills:

• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.

Other:

• Occasionally required to work outside of normal hours.

• Occasionally required to travel to other governorates.
