Job Details

Administration, managing and development of Etisalat IT Enterprise Network to achieve the highest level of availability and performance to all the IT services provided to internal Etisalat staff as well as the services offered to Etisalat Subscribers.

Main Responsibilities

Administrate , maintain and support Etisalat IT network LAN, WAN, Wireless, Voice and datacenter networking

Monitor all the network hardware and software using network monitoring tools (Solarwinds , Netscout) to ensure high availability for all Etisalat internal users and applications

Troubleshooting and fix all occurred network issues and provide workaround and solution to ensure minimum downtime and excellent service quality

Escalate cases to vendors , ISP or Transmission providers to quickly resolve prominent issues

Support Datacenter implementation and migration activities for any IT application or service

Support Etisalat enterprise users in all locations to solve their network problems efficiently and effectively.

Suggest new Ideas and/or develop and introduce new technologies to increase performance of the network.

Support Load balancers and WAN optimization devices and fulfill all customers requests

Qualifications Essential

University Degree in BSC in Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering. Very Good knowledge of networking , different devices, including Routers, Switches ,load balancers wifi and Voice systems in a Cisco environment. Fast learner and reader with the ability to understand diverse technologies. Very Good Computer skills. Very Good in Arabic and English (Reading, Writing and Oral).

Qualifications Desirable

At least 2 year experience working in IP networks in large enterprise environment with at least 1 year hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Backbone and Edge Switches. Very Good knowledge of switching and IP routing protocols. Very familiar with the operations of IP networks in Telecom environment.

Minimum 2 - 4 years Experience. Area of experience: Network and/ or Voice.
