LEAD DEVELOPER

Purpose: One of MenaGurus Health-Tech Startup specialized in providing basic and emergency medical care to the masses is hiring. The first version of the product is not yet built, we're live testing the idea with users, won couple of startup’s competitions both local and regional, and we have big ideas to grow. We are looking for someone who loves mobile app development, has knowledge in server architecture and wants to help solve a real world problem while leading the startup software development as we expand our product to sales within the next few months. You would work with our small founding team and help play a major role in the design and development of all areas of the mobile app (client side and server side). We are motivated self-starters with lots of team spirit, and want to work with you if, like us, you are driven to achieve results and exceed even your own expectations! This opportunity will be equity-only until we close our initial round of funding, after which you will be compensated with a startup-competitive salary plus your equity.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage the implementation of product initiatives from idea to implementation (initial research, build it out, test it, release, bug fix, get feedback, start all over again) • Code! And review code written by team members • Run user experiments and track metrics to make sure we're building something people love • Partner on vision for product as we grow • Performing testing across multiple devices and operating systems • Set up a system for Hypothesis Experiment Analysis Results Next Iteration/properly document all tests • Cost and time estimation for new work orders, prioritization of work orders • Review proposed development releases & and manage the release schedule & process • Establish & supervise a QA process, including integration & system testing • Interview and hire new developers, coach & manage development staff • Effectively and efficiently communicating progress to the founding team

Passions, skills, and competencies: • Recent iOS/android development experience. • 3+ years experience building web or mobile products. • Experience working the iPhone SDK. • Experience submitting application to iTunes, with previous approved products in iTunes App Store • Experience using version control repositories. • Comfortable with agile/scrum development process and code reviews. • Customer focused and results-driven attitude • Experience working with databases and cloud services •Experience working with Microsoft Azure is a plus • Passion for sports and/or health • Living in Cairo preferably Maadi, Tagamo3 or Nasr City, and have a degree in Computing Science or equivalent life experience. • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and be self-motivated in a fast-paced demanding environment
