Local Business Unit Manager, Cairo, Egypt

As a Local Business Unit Manager you will be a part of the Industrial Automation Division and Business Unit Control Technologies based in Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible for ensuring Profit & Loss and business growth through the local representation of the Global Business Unit. Oversee country operations management of the Local BU, including the full scope of R&D, Marketing & Sales, Operations (Production and/or Project Management), Supply Chain, Quality, and Operational Excellence.Your main responsibilities in this role will include:•Implementing the Global BU strategy in the country/cluster, and ensures business development, including P&L, in domestic and allocated market. Provides input to Global BU strategy. Participates in Local BU strategy development in partnership with Local Division management team.•Oversees all Marketing & Sales activities within the Local BU.•Ensuring development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensures achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.•Evaluating market opportunities and decides appropriate activities in line with the strategy. Coordinates opportunities across Local Divisions and Local Business Units where appropriate.•Ensuring profitable business growth in the domestic and allocated market.•Oversees production and execution of high quality products, services and processes. Monitoring quality metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement in local execution, and oversees improvement activities.•Ensuring the execution of projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results and customer satisfaction.•Oversees relevant local R&D initiatives.•Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction•Ensuring (with HR manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.As an ideal candidate, you should have Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronic communication engineering with 15 years of experience in Profit & Loss from Industrial Automation or food & beverages industries with strong leadership qualities. You must be result oriented to achieve the required target and have experience in control system and network in Egypt, north and Central Africa.
