This is a Program Manager position within the Defense and Space Aftermarket Sales Organization for Egypt.The Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for coordinating Sales and Customer Support for Defense and Airlines customers in Egypt. The Program Manager is responsible for leading internal cross functional program teams to achieve all project deliverables for our engagement with Defense and Airlines customers in Egypt. The PM’s job duties include the management of entry into service, setting up and tracking Egyptian airlines within the Honeywell internal network, PM’s are the customer’s advocate and actively coordinate with the SBU, functions and customers to ensure that our platform-wide products are supported in a timely, efficient and effective manner. The PM will be responsible for promoting the Aftermarket organization’s strategies and processes that support the vision to grow the business and provide solutions to widespread issues that improve customer satisfaction in Egypt. The individual will partner with Sales, Business Leaders, ISC, C&PS, Corporate and Legal to ensure that we support the customers to our best ability. This role will report directly to the D&S Customer Business Director for the Middle East and will be based in Cairo.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a management operating system (MOS) with all the relevant internal stakeholders to create, modify and maintain robust processes to ensure we support our growth initiatives in the country.
  • Candidate requirements include the ability to gather customer inputs, identify options to deliver a solution, develop a program schedule and manage program milestones, budgets and requirements to deliver the project on time within budget.
  • Ability to lead and influence across functional organizations to achieve customer and Honeywell objectives.
  • Ability to solve complex issues and drive to resolution under minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop a strong cross-functional network and MOS.
  • Develop, organize and lead program reviews with internal and external customers. Lead detailed program reviews with Senior Leadership related to product and customer support issues
  • Support new product/platform EIS at assigned Airline customers

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or business

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Customer Support or customer facing role
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience utilizing program or project management skills
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with large, diverse teams from various external and internal organizations

· English and Arabic is essential

· SAP and Salesforce.com proficiency

  • Experience in pricing, quotes, warranty, and disputes a plus
  • Understanding of commercial offerings, such as MSA and HAPP
  • Technical knowledge of Honeywell products and/or OEM aircraft products or aircraft operations
  • Problem solving skills in ambiguous situations
  • Makes decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure; able to make a quick decision.
  • Ability to think strategically, set goals, scope tasks, monitor progress and achieve results; balancing customer needs with business goals.
  • Organizational, and team leadership skills.
  • Communications/presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-building skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management within the corporation and customer base.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high priority tasks and meet aggressive program milestone targets and company goals
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • MBA or other advanced degrees preferred
